Position Summary The Dispatcher is responsible for supporting and monitoring all on road activities completed by drivers during the shift. Your role involves assigning routes and loads to drivers, monitoring their progress, and ensuring on-time deliveries while responding to unforeseen challenges such as traffic or weather disruptions. Additionally, you will maintain effective communication with drivers, customers, and other departments to streamline logistics and contribute to the efficient and reliable operation of our trucking services. Location: Edmonton, On Schedule: Mon-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM What you will do Assess and support all driver inquires, supplying drivers with all needed information and tools for their trip. IE Trip sheets, access codes for locations, trip numbers, tractors keys Support senior planner and account coordinator requests completing all daily add-ons as required Utilize Back Office and XRS to help track and monitor driver activity Ensure Trip Sheets are complete and A1 live updates are complete, progressing trips as required CSR duties (respond in timely manner to all customer requests) Sort all inbound driver paperwork to assist Admin Coordinator for payroll Supply CSR with information needed for customer reports.
