As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll join a passionate, multidisciplinary team working to empower families and support preschool-aged children with diagnosed disabilities—directly within their community settings. This role offers a deeply meaningful opportunity to help young children connect, express, and thrive by providing direct, impactful therapy. We are looking for one part-time and one full-time SLP. WHAT YOU’LL DO: THE IMPACT CLINICAL EXCELLENCE & INDIVIDUALIZED SUPPORT Keep your passion for therapy alive by managing a diverse, rewarding caseload. * Caseload Management: Assess and support a caseload of up to 25 children with a range of developmental diagnoses and communication profiles (focusing on communication, social interaction, speech, and language development). * Integrative Planning: Develop and implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs) in close collaboration with multidisciplinary team members (OT, PT, Coordinating Teacher, and Assistants). * Targeted Evaluations: Utilize both standardized and non-standardized tools to assess and evaluate communication strengths and needs. * On-Site Visits: Conduct impactful program visits directly at the student’s childcare or preschool site. * Site Support: Empower early childhood sites and community staff with SLP-related training. FAMILY AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT * Collaborative Updates: Communicate with families to review progress, celebrate achievements, and adjust goals. * Workshops & Training: Lead or participate in parent workshops, community presentations, or in-services. * Caregiver Empowerment: Offer practical, home-based coaching strategies and tools to empower caregivers. * Transition Success: Attend and actively contribute to critical IPP meetings and transition planning. * Cultivate the Future: Supervise student placements (SLPA/SLP students) to support the growth of the profession WHAT YOU BRING EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS * Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. * Current, active registration with ACSLPA. * Proven experience in early intervention and supporting preschool-aged children. Requirements
