Job details
Do you enjoy building tools and demos that help bring technical solutions to life? Coveo is looking for a Software Developer intern to join the Solutions Engineering team. Your mission? Build custom demo experiences and technical tools that help our sales engineers demonstrate the value of Coveo’s commerce solutions. The Solution Engineering team supports our Go-To-Market teams throughout the sales cycle by taking on the technical implementation behind their demos. You’ll work closely with teammates to create custom interfaces, prepare demo content and catalogs, and experiment with new ways to solve recurring problems. This is a hands-on development role that supports sales from behind the scenes. Your impact, day to day: Build custom user interfaces for commerce demos using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Work with content, catalogs, and APIs to create demo environments that reflect a prospect’s needs. Help implement and troubleshoot Beacon, a JavaScript tracking mechanism that captures website events used to demonstrate Coveo’s machine learning capabilities with prospect data. Develop proofs of concept and practical tools that make technical work easier for the Solutions Engineering team. Collaborate with solution engineers to understand what a demo needs to show, then turn those needs into working solutions. Share your progress and bring forward ideas for solving problems you notice in the team’s work. The Essentials: You are currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related program in the province of Québec. You are able to work from one of our offices 2 days a week. Our hybrid work model offers flexibility: office days provide opportunities to learn face-to-face from your team, while home days give you time to focus on complex work. You are legally entitled to work full-time in Canada for the duration of the 15-week internship. Think you’ve got what it takes? Let’s see! You have front-end development experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript and you understand how to work with APIs. You’re curious about how things work and enjoy experimenting with new approaches. You can spot a problem, imagine a useful tool or solution, and take initiative to build it. You communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with others and have strong spoken English skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with colleagues who support Coveo’s global client base. You have completed a previous internship. You’ve explored your interest in building things through personal projects, hackathons, or other hands-on work. Join the Coveolife! You don’t need to check every single box; passion goes a long way and we appreciate that skills are transferable. Send us your application, we want to hear from you! We encourage all qualified candidates to apply regardless of, for example, age, gender, disability, gaps in CV, national or ethnic background.
