Senior UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered designs that enhance user experience and drive engagement across our digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketing teams, to design and iterate on solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles. Key Responsibilities: • User Research and Analysis: Conduct user research and analyze user feedback, behavior, and analytics to inform design decisions. Develop user personas, journey maps, and use cases to understand user needs and pain points. • UI/UX Design: Design and prototype intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. • User Testing and Validation: Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs. Analyze test results and make data-driven design decisions to enhance user experience. • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions. Collaborate with developers to ensure design implementation aligns with the intended user experience. • Design Systems and Guidelines: Develop and maintain a design system and UI components library to ensure consistency across all products and platforms. Define and uphold design guidelines, standards, and best practices. • Visual Design and Branding: Create visually appealing designs that align with the brand’s identity and values. Ensure a consistent visual language across all digital products and marketing materials. • Interaction Design: Design interactive elements and animations that enhance user engagement and provide a delightful user experience. Create prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and interactions. • Stay Updated with Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, technologies, and best practices. Bring new ideas and innovations to the team to continuously improve our design processes and products. • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment. Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers and stakeholders. Skills and Qualifications: • Extensive UI/UX Design Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web and mobile design. • User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, including user research, usability testing, and user experience optimization. • Proficiency with Design Tools: Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or Marvel. • Wireframing and Prototyping: Strong experience in creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes. Ability to iterate on designs based on feedback and testing. • Visual Design and Branding: Strong visual design skills, including an eye for typography, color, layout, and a keen sense of aesthetics. Experience in creating and maintaining design systems and UI components. • Interaction Design and Animation: Proficiency in designing interactive elements, micro-interactions, and animations that enhance user engagement and experience. • Cross-Platform Design: Experience designing for multiple platforms, including web, iOS, and Android. Understanding of platform-specific design guidelines and best practices. • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and present design concepts to stakeholders. Experience working in cross-functional teams. • Problem-Solving and Creativity: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to solve complex design challenges. Ability to balance user needs with business goals. • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions that meet user and business needs. • Agile Development Experience: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment. • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive approach to learning and professional development. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Design Systems: Experience building and maintaining design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency across digital products. • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript: Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers and ensure feasibility of design implementations. • Experience in Automotive or Related Industries: Prior experience working in the automotive or related industries is a plus, but not required. • Accessibility Knowledge: Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and experience designing accessible digital products.

The Senior UI/UX Designer will create intuitive, user-centered designs for digital products while conducting user research and usability testing. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain design systems and mentor junior designers.

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a strong portfolio in web and mobile design. Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles are required.
