Location: Scarborough Onsite: 2 days in-office Anchor days: Flexible Contract Duration: 10/26/2026 to 06/30/2027 Possibility of extension: Yes, based on performance and business needs Conversion to FTE: No Number of Positions: 2 Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week RESPONSIBILITIES: • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. • Build responsive web applications using Angular and/or React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift. • Integrate applications with enterprise systems, databases, messaging platforms, and third-party services. • Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Daily Stand-Ups, and Retrospectives. • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and release management activities. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions while adhering to security, compliance, and operational standards. Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: • 8+ years of Full stack development experience. • 5+ years of Strong hands-on experience with: - Java (11/17+) - Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA - RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture - Angular and/or React - SQL and NoSQL databases - Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery practices • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Nice-To-Have Skills: • Banking or financial services experience. • Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, Event-Driven Architecture, and API security frameworks (OAuth2, JWT). • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana. • Cloud certifications and experience working in large-scale enterprise environments. Best vs. Average Candidate: The ideal candidate would be an experienced Full Stack Java Developer with strong experience with Java, React, Kafka and SQL. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and organizational skills are critical for this role. Candidate Review & Selection 1 Rounds of interview - On-site in-person Technical Interview - Questions will be based on previous experience with Real time examples.

Requires at least eight years of full-stack development experience and at least five years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring technologies, APIs and microservices, Angular and/or React, databases, Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery. Experience with cloud platforms—preferably Google Cloud Platform—is required; banking experience and Kafka are advantageous.
