About

deux par deux is the Montréal kidswear house that treats winter as an opponent and childhood as the client. Founded in 1986 and still family-run, now led by the second generation, we design, manufacture and distribute premium clothing and outerwear for kids from newborn to 16. Our snowsuits are built for the coldest cities in North America because they were born in one. Our everyday collections carry the fashion-first eye the house was born with: in 1983 our founder brought her mother's smocked dresses from Paris to Montréal, and by 1987 they were selling out in New York. Forty winters later the standard has not moved. Every piece has to pass two juries. The industry, which has awarded our technical and design work for decades. And kids, who are harder to please and impossible to fool. If a garment does not survive the schoolyard, the sledding hill and a season of being put on in a hurry, it does not ship. Today deux par deux is sold at deuxpardeux.com, through leading department stores and marketplaces, and by specialty retailers across Canada and the United States. Our collections have travelled from Montréal to New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris. We are now opening the United Kingdom and Europe. Retail partners, distributors, press and talent: write to us. We hire people who like hard problems and cold mornings.
