Provide strategic and hands-on HR advice, coaching, and guidance, including interpreting collective agreements, leading grievance discussions, and conducting investigations. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives for employee engagement, inclusion, learning and development, occupational health and safety, and employee safety, recovery, and return-to-work support.

Lead the Financial Services department and fulfill statutory financial administration responsibilities under the Community Charter and Local Government Act. Ensure the District’s long-term financial sustainability by advising Council, the CAO, and senior leaders, and by guiding financial strategy, resource management, risk management, and organizational change.
