Tasks

• Plan, direct, and oversee production operations (press and corrugator departments).
• Enforce and comply with occupational health and safety standards.
• Engage and supervise production employees (approximately 40 unionized workers).
• Ensure product quality and compliance with current standards.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective measures.
• Coordinate human and material resources effectively according to the production schedule.
• Serve as a mentor and representative of the organization on the production floor.
• Maintain a positive work environment and open communication with teams.

Job requirements

• College diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience supervising a production team.
• Strong command of computer tools (Microsoft Office suite).
• Proficiency in spoken and written French.
• Knowledge of corrugated cardboard processing (an asset).
• Experience or training in continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen – an asset).
