About the role
Tasks
- Plan, direct, and oversee production operations (press and corrugator departments).
- Enforce and comply with occupational health and safety standards.
- Engage and supervise production employees (approximately 40 unionized workers).
- Ensure product quality and compliance with current standards.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate human and material resources effectively according to the production schedule.
- Serve as a mentor and representative of the organization on the production floor.
- Maintain a positive work environment and open communication with teams.

Job requirements
- College diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience supervising a production team.
- Strong command of computer tools (Microsoft Office suite).
- Proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Knowledge of corrugated cardboard processing (an asset).
- Experience or training in continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen – an asset).
