About the role
RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES :
- Superviser/Gérer toutes les fonctions relatives aux produits d’aluminium (à l'exclusion des feuilles et plaques aérospatiales)
- Assurer un bon contrôle des stocks (niveau et tarification)
- Maintenir la liste des prix de vente à jour pour le département des ventes
- Identifier et développer avec tout le personnel de vente de nouvelles opportunités de croissance du marché pour les produits de feuille et de barre
- Répondre aux devis sur les prix et les délais de livraison pour le département des ventes
- Coordonner avec la planification de la production pour le traitement des bobines d'aluminium
- Participer aux activités d'achat
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le département des achats pour assurer un niveau de stock et des coûts adéquats
- Collaborer avec le département de l’Assurance Qualité/Services Techniques pour la disposition des produits
- Participer à l'élaboration du budget annuel
- Promouvoir l'élimination des stocks âgés ou excédentaires par des démarches proactives
- Promouvoir la formation du personnel de vente pour acquérir plus de connaissances sur le produit
- Assurer et maintenir la rentabilité du produit
- Assurer un certain niveau de contact avec les principaux clients/fournisseurs
- Rationaliser les documents relatifs au travail
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les représentants des ventes internes/externes au quotidien
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le responsable des ventes internes sur toutes les questions liées aux clients
QUALIFICATIONS

Diplôme d’Études collégial ou baccalauréat un atout

5 ans d'expérience dans un domaine connexe

Bilingue (français et anglais)
- En raison de la nature du poste et des interactions régulières avec une clientèle, des partenaires et/ou des collègues situés à l’extérieur du Québec, la maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, est requise afin d’assurer une communication efficace et un service de qualité.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise/Manage all function pertaining to the Aluminum products (excluding aerospace sheets & plate)
- Ensure a good control of the inventory (level & pricing)
- Maintain the selling price list up to date, for the sales department
- Identify and develop new market growth opportunities for sheet and bar products with all sales personnel
- Respond to quotes on price and deliveries for the sales department
- Coordinate with production scheduling for the processing of aluminum coils
- Participate in purchasing activities
- Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock level & costing
- Collaborating with Technical/Quality Assurance for product disposition
- Participate to the elaboration of the annual budget
- Promote elimination of aged or surplus inventory through pro-active dealings
- Promote training for sales staff to acquire more knowledge of the product
- Ensure and maintain the profitability of the product.
- Ensure some level of contact with major customers/suppliers
- Rationalize documents pertaining to the job
- Must work closely with the inside/outside sales reps on a daily basis
- Must work closely with the Inside Sales Manager on all customer related issues
QUALIFICATIONS
- College or Bachelor’s degree an asset
- Financial acumen
- 5 years experience in related field
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Due to the nature of the position and regular interactions with clients, partners, and/or colleagues located outside Quebec, proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, is required to ensure effective communication and quality service.
- Autonomous
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizing skills
- Valid Driver’s license
