About the role
Your Responsibilities
- Preparation of invoices, receipting payments
- Inter-company AR, clearing account ,sub-ledger reconciliations
- Designated accounts receivables tracking
- Preparation of AR related journal entries
- Follow up with customers including statement preparation and customer call outs
- Chargeback follow up and reconciling
- Update and maintain account information and utility customer databases
- Cross training with Accounts Payable and General Ledger, providing assistance as needed
- Perform cashout audits and record daily sales reports, online sales
- Review, process and record season pass refunds
- Process, reconcile and enter company credit card charges
- Creating, preparing and analyzing statistical reports
- Ongoing communication with resort accounting teams
- Completing bank deposits
- Miscellaneous filing and job-related duties as assigned
You
- Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and are comfortable dealing with customers
- Are enthusiastic and passionate for skiing and outdoor adventure
- Possess excellent time-management, organization and multi-tasking skills
- Maintain the ability to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines
- Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrate a pleasant and professional demeanor
Required Experience
- High school diploma with specialized courses in accounting or possess an accounting certificate
- 1-2 years experience in accounts receivable will be an asset
- Self-starter with ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Knowledge of ACCPAC will be an asset
- Previous bookkeeping experience will be an asset
