At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. X The Assembler position consists of documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection. Each assembler may be required to work on any single phase of operations at a given time. Your responsibilities: * Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures; * Mounting of product with epoxy and solder; * Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder; * Hand marking of devices; * Test components and assemblies once finished; * Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product; * Fibre optic attachment; * The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions; * The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees; * Performing other related duties as required. Your qualifications: * Possess a High School Diploma; * Have experience in a manufacturing environment; * The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; * Have good organizational skills; * Experience with computer data entry (an asset); * Good manual dexterity and visual acuity; * Bilingualism (French and English) an asset; Our hiring practices comply with the OLF requirements.
