Minimum Qualifications: * Valid Canadian driver’s license appropriate for operating box trucks and tractor trailers. * Proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role involving route delivery and vehicle operation. * Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation tools effectively. * Physical capability to lift and carry heavy weights safely and stand for long periods. * Reliable personal transportation and a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working in a team-oriented environment within the logistics or transportation industry. * Familiarity with Canadian road safety regulations and compliance standards. * Previous experience driving in diverse weather conditions across Canada. * Certification in defensive driving or commercial vehicle operation. * Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting. Responsibilities: * Operate box trucks and to deliver goods to designated locations across the Greater Toronto Area. * Read and interpret maps and GPS devices to plan and follow the most efficient delivery routes. * Load and unload heavy packages and materials safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques. * Maintain reliable transportation by performing routine vehicle inspections and reporting any issues promptly. * Stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment to meet tight delivery deadlines. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues. * Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
