Are you an experienced Marine Structural Engineer looking to progress your career? We're looking for a Senior Marine Structural Engineer to join our growing team. We are open to filling this position in any of our Atlantic Canada offices including Fredericton, Moncton, Saint John, Grand Falls, Bathurst, Halifax or St. John’s. A typical day on the job might look like: Providing engineering designs for civil infrastructure projects (ports, harbours and bridges) Working with diverse teams of discipline managers, engineers, designers and technicians Managing projects and being responsible for completion on schedule and financial performance Acting as a technical resource and as a mentor to junior/intermediate staff Writing, compiling and reviewing technical reports Preparing fee proposals Being a member of site visit teams, gathering information as required to complement design activities Maintaining quality throughout a project and implement improvements when determined Preparing regular project summary reports Encouraging growth within the group and increasing the general knowledge base throughout the company Developing and sustaining long-lasting business relationships with clients Identifying and mitigating potential hazards in the field or onsite, promoting a safe working environment. Your qualifications and what you bring: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited University Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil engineering including specific expertise in marine structures. Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a minimum of 12 years of experience specifically in marine structures. Must be eligible for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Atlantic provinces and possess a valid driver's license.
