Job Title: Business Analyst / Product SME - Wealth & Trust Management Location: Remote Duration: Long-term Contract Rate: CAD90-CAD100/hr Overview Seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Product SME with expertise in Wealth Management, Trust Operations, and Trust Accounting platforms. The ideal candidate will support platform conversions, system configuration, enhancements, and change management initiatives while acting as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Lead data conversion and migration activities, including mapping, reconciliation, testing, and cutover planning. Gather and document business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications. Configure platform settings and evaluate the impact of proposed changes. Support platform enhancements, UAT, defect management, and release activities. Manage the end-to-end change request lifecycle, including analysis, prioritization, tracking, and governance. Collaborate with business, operations, compliance, technology, and vendor teams. Support production issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of Business Analysis experience within Wealth Management, Trust Management, Banking, or Financial Services. Strong knowledge of Trust Accounting, Fiduciary Operations, Fee Billing, Tax Processing, and Client Reporting. Experience with platform conversions, configuration, enhancements, and change management. Strong data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and migration experience. Experience creating BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Test Cases. Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with wealth, trust, or banking platforms. SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools. Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements within financial services.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience with platform conversions, data migration and validation, requirements and test documentation, delivery methodologies, and stakeholder communication; SQL and financial-services platforms are preferred.
