Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well. About the role We are looking for an Accounting Service Representative II to join our growing team! The Accounting Service Representative II will be responsible for the treasury related activities listed below. The candidate should be a strong team player, have the competencies to work independently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, be able to challenge the status quo and work at improving current processes. What you will accomplish with us: Prepare journal entries and maintain complete supporting documentation. Support bank account opening and closing requests, including the preparation and submission of required banking documents. Maintain and update bank signing authorities in accordance with company policies. Administer bank portal access for business users, ensuring appropriate approvals, internal controls, compliance, and reporting requirements are met. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual Merchant PCI compliance activities, including the review and validation of merchant store IDs. Prepare and analyze monthly bank service-fee variance reports, highlighting key trends and discrepancies. Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, handle approval and payment request process. Reconcile basic accounts and resolve outstanding amounts. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and support the implementation of related initiatives. Work with the Manager to develop an annual work plan, including updates to process documentation. Provide documentation and assistance for internal and external audits. Develop and maintain good relationships with internal partners and different stakeholders. Support the manager for different quarterly reporting. What you will bring: College Diploma in accounting or any combination of equivalent education and experience. Bilingualism (spoken and written) in French and English is essential. Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Can consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed. Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service. Strong computer skills or training with standard office applications including strong data entry skills. Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
