We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team working on next-generation embedded technologies. In this role, you will lead the debugging, testing, and enhancement of advanced embedded products, while supporting automation, documentation, and development processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debug and test new embedded products to ensure performance and reliability.
- Support and maintain existing embedded systems.
- Develop and implement automated test procedures for embedded hardware/software.
- Follow established development processes and contribute to ongoing improvements.
- Create accurate and thorough user manuals and design documentation.
- Research and evaluate new technologies to support product innovation.
- Share knowledge and stay up to date with the latest trends in embedded hardware.
- Assist in preparing technical data packages for manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technologist Diploma in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with board-level development and lab-based testing (co-op experience accepted).
- Experience with VME, VPX, cPCI, PMC/XMC, PCIe, RapidIO, and VxWorks.
- Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Knowledge of signal integrity concepts and high-speed digital board design.
- Familiarity with CAD tools and test automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of electronics and engineering fundamentals.
