About the role
This role is part of the Tech Connect team within the Products & Technology IT Operations organization. The role primarily focuses on partnering with internal customers to provide technology support and consultation services related to hardware and application usage and process automation.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Office Technology Services Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Image and maintain a stock of ready-to-deploy PCs for each line of service
-
Process new hire requests, configure, and assign PCs to incoming new hires, including packing and shipping
-
Handle the packing and shipping of PCs for lease end or break/fix replacements
-
Conduct monthly asset reconciliation activities to ensure accurate asset management
-
Manage the repair process for broken systems and update the asset management system accordingly
-
Resolve assigned incidents promptly, with potential after-hours support as necessary
-
Liaise with key stakeholders, external vendors, users, IT staff, and global support teams to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving
-
Quickly adapt to new technologies, share knowledge, and contribute to knowledge repositories

Exhibit strong verbal and listening skills to collaborate with local stakeholders and enhance their technology experience

Collaborate remotely with team members on cross-functional initiatives and support the planning, development, and execution of technology solutions
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

Customer Service experience

Windows, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems

Laptop and Printer troubleshooting and repair

Office productivity tools (document, spreadsheet and presentation software)

Experience using data analytic and automation applications is a benefit

Knowledge of audio-video and video conference equipment is an asset

The ability to obtain Government of Canada Reliability clearance, which includes fingerprinting
-
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
