About the role

Your Opportunity:

You will provide efficient and accurate administrative support to Chronic Disease Management teams at Primary Care Agency. The successful applicant must be able to work independently in a busy office environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and tact at all times. Duties will include phone line management, registering public members into programs, accurate data entry, creating and formatting documents, spreadsheets and presentations, as well as schedule management. The ability to prioritize workload to ensure tasks are completed within required timelines in a professional & confidential manner is imperative. Excellent customer service and both verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position. As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Administrative support certification at an approved school is required. Proficiency in Connect Care, Microsoft Office Suite tools and SharePoint. Be adaptable to change, team-oriented and have a strong customer focus. Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years recent related administrative or clerical experience is preferred. Proficiency with Medical Terminology is an asset. Ability to schedule and use Admin tools in Connect Care an asset.
