Job Description:

Note: These are Temporary Part-Time positions beginning late August and ending September 30, 2025 (with possibility for extension).

Hours: Up to 24 hours per week; In-Person

Shifts will occur during store operating hours, and will also include some Saturday, Sunday, and evenings shifts.

Availability to work on Labour Day weekend and the first two weeks of September is a requirement.

Duties: Under the direction of the Manager, Retail Operations, the incumbent provides front-line customer support services including sales counter and floor duties, and performs related tasks such as telephone reception, receiving, recording, handling and distribution of books and merchandise.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum one-year customer service and/or cash handling experience in a retail setting
  • Experience with a Point-of-Sale system is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Educational Credentials

While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory as a condition of employment.
