Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Duties include full responsibility for teaching (lecture and lab) PHYC 4540 – Synoptic Meteorology I (Fall 2025) Lecture: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:30am to 1:00pm; and Labs: Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00pm to 2:30pm.

Reasonable office hours should be available to students.

Position reports to the Chair of the Department of Physics & Atmospheric Science.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

Candidates must have experience as a meteorologist, and an advanced degree in Meteorology. Candidate must have critical thinking skills and relevant teaching experience at the University level. Excellent computing, organization, and written communication skills are required.

Salary Range/Pay Rate

As per CUPE Collective Agreement.
