The Manager, Credit Card Portfolio will be responsible for designing and executing initiatives to improve the portfolio performance of our President Choice Mastercard no annual fee credit card portfolio. The successful individual will also play a key role in understanding compliance risks for all credit cards and provide support to stakeholders to maintain a strong compliance culture across the credit card business.
In collaboration with Credit Risk, Acquisition, Marketing, Digital and other enterprise partners, they will champion and execute our annual plan to drive our spending, lending, and profitability targets.
What You’ll Do Product Management and Optimization
- Lead cross functional teams to plan, execute and monitor progress against annual business plans.
- Define and execute initiatives to grow the portfolio and achieve our key performance indicator, including Purchase volume, Revolving balances and profitability targets as well as improve the customer experience
- Lead and collaborate with analytics to understand portfolio optimization opportunities, address target gaps, and ensure data insights inform business decisions
- Partner with credit risk on identifying Account Receivable growth opportunities and ensuring our credit limit strategies enable our desired outcomes
- Ensure competitiveness of our products. Partner with Digital and our Technology teams on new growth initiatives. Business case development to support the prioritization of new initiatives including planning, forecasting, assessing expected return on investments, reporting, and operational oversight
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Work with Finance on monitoring performance and preparing accurate forecasts on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Create and prepare monthly and ad-hoc business review outlooks with an in-depth understanding to report regularly on key P&L portfolio levers
Risk and Compliance
- Manage product risks in partnership with legal, regulatory, risk compliance and reporting with a keen understanding of relevant regulations and policies
- Partner with stakeholders to implement controls, monitor, and document activities, and analyze gaps to ensure product related activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal partners to review credit card marketing, disclosures, and processes
- Investigate and resolve credit card compliance issues, inquiries, and escalations in a timely manner
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in a Product, Marketing, Business Development in credit cards industry with a key understanding of key credit card drivers and operations
- University degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics or Engineering
- Strong experience working with risk, legal and compliance stakeholders
- Distinctive problem-solving skills and very strong analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work in multiple priorities simultaneously and demonstrated track record of implementing results
