About the role
Who we are
For over a decade, Coronation Recognition and Centaur Awards have been proudly served as the Lower Mainland’s premier destination for awards and recognitions. From sacred trophies to heartily crafted ribbons, custom signage to name tags, we help celebrate life’s big (and small) moments with care and creativity. Our work honors achievements, milestones, and community spirit, and we believe in doing it with heart. Whether it’s a championship, a retirement, or a personal goal reached, we believe every moment deserves to be remembered meaningfully.
We cultivate a workplace rooted in open communication and teamwork. We embrace change, and refine our approach as opportunities emerge, and create a supportive, tailored environment where every team member can shine. Joining us means stepping into a collaborative space where diverse businesses thrive together. We provide a forge for you to hone your skills, develop your expertise, and grow your career, all while contributing to our shared success.
The Opportunity
You’ll step into a key leadership role overseeing the sales and customer service teams across Coronation Recognition and Centaur Awards. With recent changes and evolving roles, we’re looking for someone who can bring structure, clarity, and cohesion to our growing sales function. You’ll guide a multi-location team, make symbolic appearances and help shape a culture rooted in strong communication and accountability.
Working alongside the President, Marketing Director, and Assistant Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of internal leadership, relationship-building, and team performance. You'll also play an active role in client outreach and be responsible for driving 10% sales growth through KPIs, retention strategies, top account planning, and customer service development. This is a chance to step into a high-impact role and help define the future of sales.
Who you are
- Genuinely empathetic and easy to connect with, while also being clear and direct when needed.
- A grounded, self-led individual who brings steadiness, consistency, and quiet confidence.
- Experienced in B2B sales leadership, ideally in customized products or service space (e.g., events, manufacturing, or retail).
- A builder of processes: sees the big picture but enjoys designing the small steps to make it work.
- Skilled at identifying issues early and guiding others through change with clarity and patience.
- Organized, proactive, and naturally tuned into both people and performance.
- Comfortable holding space for others’ ideas, emotions, and concerns while staying rooted in your own values.
