Position Information Temporary until approximately March 31, 2026
The Access Coordinator is accountable for providing support to Directors/Managers/Leaders and the Perioperative Access to Care team on all aspects related to operational plans and strategic priorities, and unit initiatives.
This role involves significant planning, organizational and system design aptitudes to support: infrastructure, process, and system design/implementation; project coordination and support; and communications.
The Access Coordinator communicates with various stakeholders across the service line and organization. The position is also responsible for the provision of technical support in the delivery of various technical and design documents, presentations, displays, etc., to support the requirements of various clients and stakeholders across TOH.
Rotation/Shifts Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
- A three (3) year College Diploma in Business, Health Management, Health Related discipline or equivalent;
- 3 years related work experience;
- Experience in the development of operational processes and procedures;
- Experience generating and analyzing data sets and providing reports and recommendations based on data;
- Experience in working independently and effectively managing multiple priorities;
- Expertise in project planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting;
- Advanced proficiency with computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and PowerBI), EPIC EMR;
- Excellent coordinating and project management skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication;
- Demonstrated problem solving, system design, and change management skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A four (4) year Undergraduate Degree in Business, Health Management, Health Related discipline or equivalent;
- Knowledge of the health care environment and Perioperative services;
- Knowledge of principles of relationship management and stakeholder engagement;
- Knowledge and understanding of Quality & Process Improvement Frameworks and Methods.
- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
