Oakville Wellness Center is a faith-based counselling organization committed to providing exceptional therapy services to individuals, couples, children, and adolescents. As a practice that integrates Christian values into therapy when requested by clients, we are seeking therapists who are comfortable working in a faith-based setting and can provide counseling that aligns with our mission.
We offer a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between in-person and remote therapy services.

Hours:
Flexible scheduling available (part-time to full-time), depending on your availability and client referrals.

Ability to Work Remotely – While Oakville Wellness Center is based in Winnipeg, we are seeking therapists across Canada who are open to working remotely, providing therapy to clients nationwide via video sessions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services to a diverse population using evidence-based modalities.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for individuals, couples, children, and families.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records in compliance with professional standards.
- Participate in case reviews and contribute to the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage crisis intervention as needed.
- Integrate Christian faith-based principles into counselling when requested by clients in alignment with our practice’s mission.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Masters in Counselling, Master's of Social Work (with clinical experience and education), or a related field.
Professional Registration: Eligible for registration with a recognized professional body (e.g., CCPA with CCC, PACCP, CRPO, or equivalent).
Clinical Expertise: Experience in individual, couple, family, and group therapy interventions.
Assessment & Intervention: Proficient in clinical assessment and various therapeutic models.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Ability to work with diverse populations and complex mental health concerns.
Crisis Management: Experience in crisis intervention is an asset.
Faith-Based Counseling: Ability to work in a faith-based setting and integrate Christian principles into therapy when requested by clients.

Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search)
Adult Abuse Registry Check & Child Abuse Registry Check
(Successful candidates are responsible for any service charges incurred.)
