About the role

Are you an Intermediate Frontend Developer who wants to make a big impact and also work for a growing company?

Our client, a Vancouver-based software company, is looking for an Intermediate Frontend Developer for a permanent position. We love this company because they are welcoming of their team members' ideas and each team member has an opportunity to influence the product

development. You’ll work closely with the company's Development Team, Creative Team, Project Managers to make improvements to the company's ReactJS SaaS application. We’re looking for someone who is very team oriented, resourceful, and passionate about web development.

Here is what you will do on a day to day basis:

  • Collaborate in the development of our react web application
  • Follow industry best practices, and coding standards
  • Make quality assurance a top priority by testing, refactoring, and optimizing code to achieve the best performance, and strive for flawless and bug-free projects
  • Participate in meetings and breakout sessions to provide perspectives, ideas and solutions
  • Complete work in a timely manner

Here is the type of person we are looking for:

  • Minimum 4+ years experience as a Front-End Developer
  • Experience with SaaS, React, Typescript and JavaScript
  • Experience with mobile web development (responsive, adaptive) and mobile first website development principles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas to a non-technical room
  • Strong, analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
