Ocean Contractors Limited has been in the asphalt and ready-mix concrete business since 1974. We pride ourselves on having ‘Built on Quality’ products, services and employees. Ocean is currently seeking applications for Dump Truck Driver to join our field teams.

Reporting to the Site Foreman, the Dump Truck Driver is responsible for effectively, and safely delivering aggregates, asphalt & excavations to and from job sites as indicated by the Truck Dispatcher. This job will require the following duties;

• Driving in a safe and professional manner.
• Inspecting and delivering the product in accordance will applicable requirements.
• Dealing with customers and the general public in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ensuring your equipment is maintained in a clean and presentable manner.
• Ensuring that your equipment meets all safety guidelines at all times.
• Performing the required pre-trip inspections.
• Maintaining an accurate log book.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• At least 3 years driving experience with comparable equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to haul asphalt
• Demonstrated record of safe driving and adhering to safety guidelines.
