Civil Superintendent (Night Shift)****:
We require an experienced Civil Superintendent (Night Shift) for a major transit infrastructure project that’s reshaping how Toronto moves. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside a major client on a high-profile project where your leadership will directly influence the success of critical transit infrastructure. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing civil activities within an active rail corridor, where quality, collaboration, and strict safety standards are critical.
How will you contribute to the team?:
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Lead all night shift field operations.
-
Coordinate closely with rail operators, flagging teams, and subcontractors to ensure safe operations within the active rail corridor.

Supervise and manage crews and subcontractors on-site, ensuring work aligns with project schedules and specifications.
-
Conduct nightly toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and enforce strict safety protocols in compliance with rail and provincial regulations.
-
Monitor work progress, resolve issues proactively, and maintain daily field reports and documentation.

Collaborate with the day shift superintendent and project management team to ensure seamless handovers and ongoing coordination.

Support environmental compliance and quality assurance practices throughout all phases of construction.
Education & Experience:
-
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Project Superintendent with Heavy Civil projects including Infrastructure and Rail.

Experience with self-performed formwork and concrete is an asset
-
Outstanding communication and organizational skills
-
Strong leadership and teambuilding abilities
-
Ability to effectively manage an hourly workforce and sub-trades
-
Proficiency with MS Office is required.
