Parkway Motors Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Service Business Development Centre Representative to join our Team!

The ideal Business Development Representative candidate assists the Service Department in achieving their service and business goals. Our Business Development Representatives deal with both inbound and outbound Service Department calls in a centralized call center environment.

Qualifications:

Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Automotive industry experience is a definite plus.

Strong commitment to customer follow-up
-
A desire to learn, be coached, practice and deliver a remarkable guest experience
-
Clear and concise verbal communication skills and a talented telephone communicator
-
Computer skills are a must (experience with PBS and XTIME an asset)
-
Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
-
Available to work Saturdays
-
Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
-
Must have positive, energetic personality and possess a strong work ethic
-
Terrific written communication skills with excellence in spelling and grammar
Duties:
-
Promptly responding to and following up with customer inquiries via phone, emails and online appointments
-
Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business
-
Be efficient. Handle call volumes knowledgeably providing excellent service every time
-
Create appointments for guests based on their time, location preference and vehicle maintenance requirements/recommendations
-
Follow up with customers, aligned with standard operating procedures and call quality handling, to completion
-
Handle incoming and outgoing calls with proficiency, confidence and sincerity
-
Be able to soft sell in a customer service environment with a smile
-
Ability to multitask between multiple computer programs while engaging with the guest
-
Consistently maintain performance-related requirements including but not limited to, average handle time, attendance, quality assurance, and appointments
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Automotive Service background preferred
- Customer Service background required
- Call Center background preferred
