About the role

Job Title: Operational Excellence Coordinator Location: Mississauga, ON Work Environment: Hybrid ( 2-3 days per week at NSC or in a branch)

Under the direction of the Manager of Operational Excellence, the Operational Excellence Coordinator will provide efficient operational and Operations support to the division’s annual and operational initiatives and programs. The role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about ensuring that deliverables are met. They must be passionate about collaborating with stakeholders to ensure Bayshore is meeting the needs of our internal and external customers, including branch administrative and field staff

Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide operational coordination and support to Bayshore Home Care Solutions operational initiatives.
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, documenting and tracking of all aspects of assigned projects & initiatives.
  • Support the BHCS Leadership Team, Operations Excellence, Learning & Development & Transformation Teams and Branch Leads in the execution of plans and ensure that deliverables are completed on time and well documented.
  • Assist in team meetings, process improvement meetings and on-site visits by taking minutes and ensuring follow-up items are completed
  • Supporting communications including status update reports, monthly reports, presentations.

Candidate Requirements

  • Post Secondary diploma or certificate in business, communication or Operations management
  • Working towards a CAPM designation is an asset
  • Experience in process improvement methodology and change management is an asset
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of administrative or operations coordination experience is preferred
  • Experience working in Home Care, health care or senior services would be an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Procura or other scheduling software is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint MS Operations)
  • Must be willing to travel to branches as required, including having a valid driver’s license and access to a car if required
