Location: 23 Benton Road, North York, M6M 3G2

Major intersection: Keele & Lawrence

Hours: Full-time 40 hours per week.

Reports to: Engineering Process and Supply Chain Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Junior Production Planner will be responsible for the coordination of Oracle WIP and Materials transactions while assisting with the creation of Bill of Materials (BOMs) for each assigned product. You will also assist with planning and verifying materials availability for production. The Junior Planner will promote consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in all functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Read Configurator specs/customer orders and translate to build Oracle BOMs/ATOs.
  • Assist with Entering and Updating Items, BOMs, Routings and ATOs into Oracle.
  • Enter and update WIP Oracle transactions.
  • Assist with Inventory Count and auditing and related Oracle processes.
  • Assist with establishing accurate inventory levels, problem-solving, and executing appropriate countermeasures for deviations from planned inventory levels.
  • Evaluate and coordinate material requirements to ensure production/customer requirements are met.
  • Identify discrepancies and mitigate associated risk for meeting committed customer delivery date.
  • Assist with Product costing based on Oracle BOMs/ATOs.
  • Assist with Oracle MRP.
  • Assist in various supply chain processes as required.
  • Data entry accuracy.
  • Follows all safety requirements and maintains a clean working environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in Supply Chain or equivalent in experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in Apparel or Textile industry considered a huge asset.
  • Strong MRP/ERP knowledge considered an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
  • Self-motivated and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must be legally able to work in Canada and, where applicable, must have a valid work permit.
