What the job involves
- Our Consumer Servicing organization is in search of a Director of Engineering, Servicing Platforms
- This role is crucial in leading the engineering group responsible for the foundational technology that drives customer success and satisfaction after their purchase
- You will collaborate with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders across product, operations, and legal to ensure the platform is reliable, compliant, and scalable
- This requires thoughtful leadership across a broad scope of charters, all aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction: you will oversee the self-service and agent-facing systems that empower customers to manage their accounts, resolution flows that turn experiences like disputes and refunds into opportunities to build trust, and our credit reporting platform— a function core to our customers' financial success
- We are obsessed with the customer experience, and you will play a significant role in enabling Affirm to meet our high standards
- Own a portfolio of teams and products in service of a key company objective. You will be accountable for its alignment, inspection, and ultimately, the delivery of results through your management team
- Develop and articulate a multi-year strategy for your organization, proactively charging the territory and creating alignment with partners in Product, Design, and across the business to ensure your vision drives company-level goals
- Build your team and the next generation of leaders at Affirm with a people-first approach. This means driving the full talent lifecycle while creating a culture of care, psychological safety, and continuous growth for every member of your team
