Job Summary
We are seeking a Bilingual Junior Estimator to join our Installation team in the office to help support operations regarding scaffolding and swing stage installation. Mainly quoting, follow-ups, site visits, briefing team leads, and building strong customer relationships.
Reports To: Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer customer requests by phone or email
- Enter job details and client information into Contractor Foreman
- Call back client if more information is needed
- Analyze details and determine the scope of work and materials required for the project
- Schedule and conduct a site visit if more information is required and take pictures and measurements
- Generate a quote to send to the client and follow up as needed
- Coordinate with Project Manager to determine timeline, scope of work, and which team will be completing the project
- Draft a budget to determine the various costs associated with the project such as labor, material, drivers, etc.
- Help complete the project as needed
- Create a material list and give to Warehouse Manager for preparation
- Send the plan to the draftsman as needed
- Receive confirmation/acceptance of quote from customers
- Book jobs in the calendar
- Get engineer approval as needed
- Brief Team Leads on upcoming jobs
Software: Contractor Foreman, AutoCAD, Texada, MS Office
Qualifications
- Previous experience as construction estimator
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Estimation
- Excellent communication skills, a team player
- Time management skills, able to manage schedule efficiently
- Adaptive to change, flexible
- Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good with computers/technology

- Driver license, class G
- Reliability security clearance (clear criminal record check)
- Bilingual (Fr/Eng)

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
