Host Agency Support Worker Wanted
Community Living Victoria (CLV) is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Worker for a contracted position. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist a young man with at-home, person-centered activities.

Related Skills and Experience:
- Must be willing to commute to Swartz Bay
- Previous experience as an Educational Assistant is an asset
- Previous experience working with adults with profound autism is an asset
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate with other members of the support team
- Able to provide safe and caring support
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living both at home and in the community
Contract Requirements:
- At least 19 years of age
- Criminal Record Check
- Driver’s Abstract
- Emergency First Aid certification
- Work/character references
- Vehicle required in most circumstances, with limited mileage and some expenses reimbursed

- Remote Work: No
- Job Types: Part-time, Fixed-term contract
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Salary: $30.97 per hour
- Schedule: 3 x 4 hr shifts/week

This position is an independent contract and as such, contractors are not employees of Community Living Victoria. These contracts are renewed on an annual basis contingent upon both parties wanting to continue the contract, and if credentials are up to date.
