We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant/Book keeper to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves maintaining office operations, providing exceptional customer support, and ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in our computerized systems.
- Manage filing systems, ensuring documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing client questions and concerns promptly.
- Prepare reports and documents as needed to assist management in decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct some preliminary book keeping
Skills
- Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective customer support.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with general office procedures and administrative functions.
- Competence in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic work environment while contributing to the success of our organization through effective administrative support.
The candidate must be a student currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution in British Columbia.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
