About the role

Assignment:

  • Part-time 0.56 FTE probationary teaching position
  • Teaching Grades 7 & 9 Language Arts, mornings only
  • Duties are to commence August 27, 2025 and will continue for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching in a Junior High classroom
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth
  • Experience teaching junior high Language Arts would be considered an asset
  • Passion for education and a commitment to student success
  • Assessment literate
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a wide range of special and individual needs
  • Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
