About the role

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

-Requirements at Entry level in Roll making; wide range of raw fish and Japanese ingredients is an asset Prepare sushi according to recipes or instructions and effectively execute sushi plates and rolls.

-Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.

-Knowledge of how to handle the whole ingredients.

-Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables etc

-Ensure all food and other items are labelled, stored properly, and rotated accordingly

-Ensure production area is always cleaned and ready for use

-Ensure all food is always kept at right temperature and track wastage

  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

  • Responsible for following proper opening and closing procedures

-Must have a Food Handlers Certificate

-Capable to work under pressure, stay calm and be organized

-Quick learner with menu offerings regarding the new menu

  • Able to stand for a long period of time

Time : Tuesday (12:00-11:00), Friday(12:00-11:00) and/or Saturday(12:00-11:00)
