About the role

Description:
You are the initial welcome party for our lodging guests! All our Night Audit - Front Desk employees provide one of the first impressions of Panorama Resort for our guests. In this role you will become knowledgeable about our resort events & activities as well as the surrounding area. A friendly, efficient, and outgoing personality is the perfect fit for this role. The Night Audit primary shifts are evening from 10:00pm to 8:00am.

Essential Functions:

  • Promote resort principles and guest service philosophies.
  • Sell accommodations, services, and resort amenities.
  • Assist with various accounting functions required to close out the current day’s records.
  • Ensure all transactions are posted correctly and balance at the end of the day.
  • Produce audit reports for the Accounting.
  • Verify room charges Receive nightly close outs.
  • Oversee journal entries.
  • Follow all emergency procedures.
  • Register guests efficiently and pleasantly.
  • Maintain accurate guest bills and be able to explain charges.
  • Create reservations when Reservations Department is closed.
  • Assist with guest questions and problems.
  • Answer hotel switchboard in a professional and friendly manner
  • Maintain key security and coordination of dispersed keys.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Industry knowledge preferred.
  • Computer skills, SMS preferred.
  • Able to maintain composure when dealing with Guest or Staff concerns.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & prioritize.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts.
