Are you interested in learning the craft of butchery? Freson Bros., an Alberta owned and operated fresh food retail chain, invites you to apply to our Meat Department as a Butcher Apprentice in Hinton, Alberta (Hinton Valley Location).
Qualifications:
- Ability to work during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Warm and welcoming personality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Some experience in the craft of butchery is an asset
Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist butcher team in cutting and wrapping products
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines and procedures
- Fulfill customer requests and create a positive customer experience
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
Position Details:
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Location: Hinton, AB (Hinton Valley Location)
- Wage: $15.00 - $18.00 / hour
