We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Team. If you have a passion for people are motivated, enjoy challenges and thrive in a fast-paced environment we would love to hear from you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enters invoices after all necessary approvals are obtained and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Handles problems that arise from vendors pertaining to their accounts and processes any necessary paperwork (debit and credit memos), in collaboration with purchasing or managers as necessary.
  • Perform weekly payment runs which include paper cheques and electronic payments; process urgent payments as required.
  • Communication with vendors and buyers/purchasing/approval managers on regular basis.
  • Files invoices and computer printouts.
  • Reviews vendor account statements for discrepancies and corrects in a timely manner.
  • Performs all responsibilities/services in accordance with the company Quality Assurance Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Accounting courses (basic bookkeeping) would be beneficial.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts payable is preferred with experience in manufacturing environment that requires matching of invoices to purchase orders

This position is full time on-site at our Seating division in Kitchener.
