We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Parts Person to join our team and learn from experienced professionals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting both internal teams and external customers by assisting with parts identification, inventory control, order processing, and customer service. You’ll learn to manage parts inventory for heavy duty equipment, respond to inquiries, recommend product solutions, and perform regular inventory counts—all while developing the trade knowledge and technical skills needed to succeed in the industry.

Responsibilities
- Administers and provides trade knowledge as it relates to parts and compemts for both internal and external customers.
- Manage and dispense parts inventory for Heavy Duty Equipment.
- Provide assistance to internal and external customers, providing advice on required parts, companion parts, available specials and exposure to our full product line.
- Handling incoming parts inquiries from internal and external customers via phone, email or in person.
- Determining customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
- Recommending alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
- Accurately processing customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns.
- Maintaining accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
- Performing weekly cycle counts as well as monthly and yearly inventory counts.
- Apply core standards to returns; classify cores according to Liebherr programs.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Competencies
- You are currently or you will be registering for a Parts Technician program at a registered Trade School.
- You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
