The Position
The Brand Standards Consultant is responsible for overseeing that our Certified Business Owners (“CBO’s”) deliver the excellent service levels that our customers expect. This key position within our organization encounters a variety of situations throughout the year, lending to its challenge and variety in daily activities. The Brand Standards Consultant performs a variety of roles in carrying out their daily tasks – teacher, coach, mentor, inspector, police officer, mediator, and consultant. You’ll be part of a team that directly impacts the success of our organization and our CBO’s which is tremendously rewarding. Essential Duties:
- Be an ambassador for JAN-PRO by representing the company professionally at all times in front of customers, potential customers and our Certified Business Owners.
- Perform audits of our customer’s facilities, ensuring they receive top service levels as defined in their contract.
- Provide feedback on inspections to our Certified Business Owners, guiding them in areas where they can improve their service levels.
- Lead formal and on-site seminars for new Business Owners in our Certification Training Programs.
- Maintain and develop our vast network of Certified Business Owner’s, sharing best practices to enhance their skillset.
- Meet with new customers and Certified Business Owners to establish proper relationships and review services contracted
- Provide estimates and sign contracts for Special Service cleaning (hard floor care, carpet cleaning, windows, etc.) required by our customers.
- Ensures all WHMIS protocols, SDS and workplace health and safety regulations are observed by our Certified Business Owners and their employees.
- Investigate and provide same day resolution for any service deficiencies delivered by our Certified Business Owners.
- Maintain proper records for our company databases.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities we’re looking for:
- Exceptional customer service skills and is dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English language (being multi-lingual is certainly a benefit).
- Professional demeanour with ability to both work with others and assume leadership role.
- Willingness to adjust working schedule to meet our Certified Business Owners at their customer’s location to provide hands on development
- Experience with janitorial equipment in a commercial environment is a definite asset but not a necessity.
- Ability to manage teams of people in organized structures.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Good presentation skills.
- Proficiency with computers – particularly Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
- College or University Degree is an asset.
- Desire to positively impact people’s lives
