Why join our team? Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving financial analysis and reporting. We are looking for a strategically minded, highly motivated candidate who will be able to provide reliable and timely information and analysis to business leaders.
As a Senior Financial Analyst – Cost Accounting and FP&A, your responsibilities include:
- Analyzing monthly variances for SG&A, labor, and other cost centers by comparing actual performance to budgeted figures.
- Preparing labor, overhead, and SG&A rate calculations.
- Reviewing and preparing monthly allocations for various cost centers.
- Managing month-end entries and allocations.
- Acting as the lead for the annual rate negotiation file with government entities.
- Preparing and presenting clear and concise financial reports to senior management.
To Excel In This Role, You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an accounting or financial role.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and sharp business acumen.
- Strategic thinking ability and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to prioritize in a demanding environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
