Job Summary:
We are seeking a Journeyman/women Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong time management and work ethic skills. The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail and be able to multitask while working efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Duties:
- Build, fabricate, and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and welding requirements
- Operate welding equipment and tools such as MIG and TIG welders
- Experience with the operation of Collaborative Robots
- Perform quality inspections on completed welds to ensure they meet the required standards
- Use of crane and forklift
- Packaging equipment and parts to be sent for coatings
- Assist with welding in other departments as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Certification is required
- B Pressure Welding Certification not required.
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Overhead Crane experience is an asset
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, bench, push, or pull up 50Lbs. unassisted
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
