At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).

Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:

Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.

Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.

Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.

About the role

Are you ready to be a driving force in ATB's success? As our next Business Analytics Manager on our Everyday Financial Services (EFS) Pricing and Portfolio Optimization team, you're not just analyzing data—you're shaping our future. You'll lead the charge in defining new strategies, policies, and processes, taking full ownership of initiatives from conception to execution. Your expertise will transform raw data into powerful insights, building and maintaining critical dashboards that monitor our KPIs and directly influence key decisions. This isn't just about tasks; it's about making a significant impact and collaborating across the organization. If you're an expert in business analysis with a passion for driving results and strategic change, come join us and help us redefine what's possible for our customers and for ATB.

This role can be either hybrid or remote. If you live in Alberta, you’ll work both remote and onsite from an ATB corporate office, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives. If you live outside of Alberta, you’ll work fully remote with occasional travel to ATB corporate locations in Alberta.

Accountabilities

  • Drive Strategic Impact: Lead the analysis and translation of business needs into actionable solutions, influencing key decisions through expert recommendations and high-level project planning.
  • Own Data to Drive Performance: Take full accountability for the entire data lifecycle, from curation and analysis to the design, development, and validation of essential data visualizations and dashboards that monitor and enhance our KPIs.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Spearhead the evolution of business analysis standards and processes, ensuring our methodologies are cutting-edge and support our strategic goals.
  • Shape Our Future: Lead projects involving both quantitative and qualitative evaluation of strategies, developing and delivering compelling presentations to senior leadership to secure buy-in for strategic changes.
  • Cultivate Collaboration and Growth: Facilitate impactful workshops with stakeholders, coach and mentor team members, and serve as a go-to expert for data requests, fostering a culture of understanding and excellence across the organization.

Skills, experience & requirements

  • Strategic Visionary: Bring 5+ years of business analysis expertise, adept at translating complex challenges into clear, actionable strategies that drive real business impact.
  • Data Powerhouse: Master advanced business analysis tools and techniques, transforming data into powerful insights and solutions. Proficiency in Big Query, SQL, R or Python is a strong asset, alongside familiarity with G Suite (Sheets, Data Studio).
  • Influential Collaborator: A natural at fostering cross-functional partnerships, leading workshops, and mentoring talent, you'll drive collective success across ATB.
  • Innovator at Heart: You're a creative problem-solver, consistently identifying opportunities for improvement and championing innovative solutions that push boundaries.
  • Financial Insight: A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or Statistics is preferred. Experience in Retail Banking and a deep understanding of ATB's diverse lines of business are highly valued - as are additional designations (academic or professional) and direct experience in the pricing, treasury or financial spaces of financial institutions.

Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring. If you believe your skills and experience align with the role—but you might not check all the boxes—we want to hear from you. We encourage candidates from all work backgrounds, equity-seeking communities and experience levels to apply. If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.

We’re dedicated to building a workforce reflective of those within our communities, and a culture where our team members are equipped with what they need to succeed—their way. Part of creating an inclusive workplace is recognizing our role in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program created by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
