Position Overview
We are hiring a Shipper & Receiver to support the day-to-day coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments across our bulk tank, hardware and lubricant warehousing operations. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment while maintaining accurate records. This role plays a key part in ensuring inventory integrity, timely deliveries, and efficient operations across the Co-op.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, invoices)
- Inspect, receive, unpack, label, and route incoming shipments
- Assemble, pack, and prepare outbound orders with identifying information
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment
- Oversee safe loading and unloading of trucks or trailers
- Maintain inventory control records and report discrepancies or damage

Qualifications
- 3+ years shipping/receiving experience
- Forklift certification and ability to operate lift equipment safely (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid BC Class 5 Drivers license, with vehicle (mileage reimbursed for inter-site travel)
- Familiarity with inventory software or shipping documentation systems
- Detail-oriented and able to meet tight timelines in a physical environment
