Job Summary
Premiere Med Spa & Aesthetics is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Assistant/Medical Adminstrative Assistant to add a member to our team. We are a busy, fast-paced plastic surgery office. This position will assist our plastic surgeon on consultations/follow up visits, scheduling clinics, hospital minor procedures and other aspects of a plastic surgery practice. A medical office assistant certificate or medical administrative assistant certificate is required. Previous experience is desirable. We are looking for someone with a positive, self-motivated attitude, good communication skills and excellent work ethic. We would like this person to be passionate about our industry, ambitious and take initiative.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming environment.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with front desk operations, including patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Collect patient information and process necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and hospitals to ensure efficient patient flow and care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
- A certificate in a Medical Office Assistant program or Medical Administrative Assistant program
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and administrative procedures.
- Proficient in using phone systems and standard office equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
