Position Summary...
The Manager, Learning Design - Logistics is responsible to map learning needs within the logistics area to design and develop curriculum and content that is aligned to a WM enterprise approach or logistics focused. This associate will manage relationships with SME and the business function and will execute on project timelines and deliver content within budget and in a way that is measurable and favorable to user experience and delivers upon learning outcomes. This role will sit at Store Support Centre, a Walmart Academy or Walmart Office.
What you'll do...

Devise logistics training strategy (capability, maturity model) to support the supply chain network of the future. Monitor and evaluates program ROI, effectiveness, and financial plan (budget), and reports to senior leadership periodically.

Develops and administers appropriate content or uses WM developed content to train salaried and/or hourly associates nationally for consistency, process alignment and productivity improvements. Assesses training and development needs and monitor training programs for effectiveness.

Partners with appropriate third party vendors by preparing and reviewing training documentation and incorporating internal and external trends.

Creates clear learning objectives that align to the needs of the business and develops evaluation and assessment strategies that are measurable and demonstrate ROI to the business.

Design skills at Sr. Instructional Design level. Develops course curriculum, storyboards, socialization documents and learning assets that meet design spec and learning outcomes.

eLearning production abilities at Sr,. Digital Media Specialist level. Can use all of the expected software to create digital and mobile learning in Storyline, Camtasia, After Effects, Adobe Design Pro

Strong communication and influence skills, change agility and resilience to manage SME, business stakeholders and high level of change in day to day work.

Stays current with trends and best practices in the field of education and training and with changes related to the business operations; Aligns training content with corporate strategies and objectives. Flags opportunities and shares best practices openly.

Determines appropriate medium to use for training, in person, online etc. Ensures language and content is appropriate for the audience.

Manages and owns the design project plans to ensure timelines are met across the regions. Flags concerns and risks early and appropriately to all related stakeholders.
