About the role
The Opportunity
WCLC is currently looking to add a Full-Time Accounting Administrator to the Accounting department of our Video Lottery Division in Saskatoon. This division manages the operation of Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) in the province of Saskatchewan and is looking for someone with previous accounting experience and an eye for detail to join our team!
The successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
In joining our team as an Accounting Administrator, you will…
- Prepare weekly invoicing and accounting adjustments
- Process VLT prize payouts
- Reconcile various accounts
- Accounts Payable preparation and entry
- Cheque generation and distribution
- Preparation and entry of journal entries
- Maintain and generate various reports
- Inventory Costing
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent
- Previous related office experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Previous accounting experience a definite asset
Who we are
WCLC’s VLT division is contracted by LGS (Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan) to manage and operate VLTs in Saskatchewan. The VLT division operates 4,200 VLTs across the province, and WCLC provides training, installation, and maintenance of the VLTs, as well as a central operating system.
WCLC is the non-profit organization authorized to manage, conduct, and operate lotteries – at retail and online – and other gaming-related activities for the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba as well as the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut. We work closely with our provincial partners to bring a first-rate lottery experience to our players and meet their changing needs with new technology and tools.
