We are looking to add 1 PART TIME CNC Operators to our Winnipeg VPC Team

Shift: Monday to Friday
Must be available to work 11:00am - 7:00pm
The ideal candidate must demonstrate/possess the following skills, abilities and competencies:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining, controlling and operating; CNC machine, Vertical and Horizontal Saws
- Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and/or adjust equipment to maximize performance, as well as input measurements into computer systems
- The ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance activities
- Ability to work well with others as a member of a team as well as independently
- Measure materials accurately to achieve best yields
- Operation of glue booth for fabrication of materials (foam and fiber)
- Assist with material management and use baler to compact excess raw material
- Perform general housekeeping duties in an effort to support safety and quality standards
- Bagging, packaging, labelling finished products
- Other duties as requested by supervisor
Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including experience working with tools and/or equipment
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member
- Diploma in mechanical technician - CNC programming preferred
- Must have reliable method of transportation.
- Knowledgeable in measuring, yield calculations etc.
